Coin Slot Magazine - #064 - 1980 - June [International Arcade Museum]
This is an overview of Steve GronowskVs booth during the auction on thefirst day.
Steve Gronowski's Coin Machine Show in Chicago April
26th and 27th was a gigantic success. There were 46
booths with a full compliment of coin operated machines
and associated paraphernalia. We found various gaming
devices, slot machine parts, gum ball and peanut
machines, old signs, stained glass, slot stands, juke boxes,
cash registers, a coin operated banjo, carved figures and
much more. Over 1,000 people came to the Chevy Chase
Country Club to view the machines, buy various items and
swap stories.
On Sunday, Steve arranged for a "mini-auction". Any of
the dealers who decided to participate selected three
items to be auctioned. Gordon Pace, the auctioneer,
