Coin Slot Magazine - #029 - 1977 - June [International Arcade Museum]
EDITORS STATEMENT
It looks as though the first anniversary will be a great success
thanks to everyone's effort.
At this time I wish to give a great big thanks to those who have
submitted articles and given me encouragement over the past
year that are as follows:
Mr. Dick Bueschel, Bob Rosenberger,
Larry Lubliner, Steve Schmitt, Dave Evans, Dave Bassitt, Bob
Frankenberger, Joel & Shelly Gilgoff and a host of others who
have sent in news clippings and news.
Also wish to thank Orin
Yeager and Gene Foster, Steve Gronowski for their great support.
It amazes me how far coin machine collecting has come in just
the past year.
Mostly being energized because of the California
Law allowing private ownership of Antique Gambling, and with
the prospect of other states soon to follow.
It is my opinion
that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
I'm sure you will be pleased to know that The Coin Slot has
grown about 5 times in one year.
The printed material, as you
can see, has increased about 3 times, and next year looks even
greater for growth potential. I again appeal to all of you, if you
have a For Sale or Trade or Wanted or a Service you wish to
perform please get it into The Coin Slot. All the hard core coin
machine enthusiasts are on The Coin Slot mailing list.
As to a list of products available, I would like to add a word,
Unique Data Services has an impressive list of badly needed service
manuals; a list you will see in this issue.
I received my copy of Juke Box Saturday night from Antique
Juke Box Co. of Los Angeles, a beautiful hard cover 160 pages
of history and color photo's; a must for the Juke Box collectors.
Also I will mention I have received my Chocolate Vendor from
Antique Juke Box Co., they are (mint original) and you can
still get the right kind of chocolate for this machine.
Antique
Amusements also has to offer excellent reprints of early gambling
and arcade items as well as a reproduced very ornate slot machine
stand, all advertised this issue.
