Mr. and Mrs. P aul Laymon spent the
November 11th week-end with fri ends on
a ranch on the grounds of the An telope
Valley Country Club near Lancaster. This
is the first time the Laymons have been
out of town sin ce the beginnin g of the war.
Ernest E. Harrison, recently released
from th e army, is establishing a local op-
era tion and has been aided by Bill Happel,
of Badger, in getting a fair string of ma-
chin es to start with.
Russell Richardson is caring for th e
Bill Leuenha gen strin g of phonogra phs.
Lou P eters, form er opera tor for Bill, has
gone to Sa int Louis to be with hi s moth er
who is ill.
Dorothy Hanson, form erly wi th Smith's
Automatic Phonogra phs in Chehalis, Wash-
ington, is assisting J ane Carrico Porter at
th e Jack Gutshall office.
