Hard Boiled Eggs
Newest Vending field
ST. LOUIS- Cro-Mar Sales & Mfg. Co.
has entered th e vendin g machin e fi eld with
a new devi ce which vends selected hard
boiled eggs at a nickel each, reputedl y
nettin g a n excellent profit to route men
with 50 to 100 machines. Belief of firm 's
officials is th at the new unit will be wel-
co med eagerly by poultrymen as an outlet
for surplus eggs.
It is also said that the machine can be
used fo r dispensin g other merchandise suit-
able fo r many loca tion s, and one large
opera tor is reported to be pfanning to use
a solid metal cover instead of th e standard
glass top, so as to conceal th e prod uct, and
so operate the machine as a prize package
vendor with a nominal prize for each coin
s pent, and major grand prizes at two or
three varied com partments.
Device is Na ti onal Slug R ej ector-
equi pped, and is said to be modestly priced.
Es tim ate is th at th e St. Louis area alon e
will absorb 750 to 1000 machines, Chicago
probably 3500 units, and oth er areas pro-
portio nate quantiti es.

General Vending
features Cub and Ace
BALTIMORE- According to report of
Irvin Blumenfeld, General Vendin g Service
Co. is now fea tu rin g Daval's Cub and Ace
counter games. Firm's executive was im-
pressed with th e automa ti c co in divid ers
wh en he saw th e two units at the Daval
fa ctory in Chicago, and determined to im-
press on operators in his territory the fa ct
th a t this made it profi table to run lon g
di sta nce routes.
As with a good many other firms, case

beli ef tha t th e operator can put th e entire
case under hi s arm and drop off the games
- there are six to a case-as he goes
along.
