TREASURE ISLARD
INTRODUCING AN AUTOMATIC VOICE RECORDING MACHINE
They made their DEBUT at the GOLDEN GATE
INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION on Treasure
Island, in San Francisco Bay, and they will also be in
operation at the NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR. They
are taking TOP MONEY, and rightfully so, for they
are the talk of the Exposition.
Everyone is interested in knowing how his voice
sounds to the other fellow, even you.
Just think of it-all you do is place a quarter in the
slot, talk into the micropho e, then listen for your
recorded voice to be played back to you. The record
will then be delivered to you, so you take it home or
mail it away. These records will play on any phono-
graph.
The Warner Automatic Voice Studio bears the name
of its inventor, one of the oldest and best known re-
cording engineers and producers of sound equipment
in the country, having made millions of recorded
phonograph records and manufactured as many as
any other individuaL
It was while engaged in this business that he found
the great demand for a convenient and inexpensive
way for any person to record his own voice; thus this
new and great voice studio was born, manufactured
and put to the most vigorous and rigid tests.
STRICTLY PRIVATE
This studio is strictly private; the beautiful walnut
finished cabinet is much larger than the ordinary
telephone booth, graceful in design and sub-
stantial in construction.
Its dimensions are thirty-four inches wide,
forty-two inches deep, and seven feet
seven inches high over all.
It will conveniently hold from one
to three persons, enabling them to
talk, sing or play a musical instru·
rr.ent without the embarrassment of
. being heard by others on the out-
side, for some people are naturally
timid and this feature is appealing.
.
• It must • be remembered that as soon
as the record is made
. ids immediately
played back to the person or persons who
made ·it; therefore, if the_ m~tter is of a
personal nature it canno~ be overheard on the_
of the machine with the door tlosed.
