• In a copyrighted release, the Hy-
G-Toi Sales Company, Chicago, re
count the dangers of infection likely
to develop from contaminated public
toilet seats.
A scientific analysis was made, in
eluding actual photo-micrographs, to
definitely and permanently record the
startling information revealed by ac
tual tests. The study made brought
out the facts pertaining to the types
of microbes and organisms found by
a bacteriologist. Every seat examined
was found to be contaminated.
The offices of the recently formed
organization are located in the Ameri
can Bankers Insurance Building, un
der the direction of Edward C. Han
sen, president.
The Hy-G-Toi Sales Company is
the outgrowth of a number of years of
experimentation with sanitary vend
ing apparatus. The organization is
now featuring two machines—a penny
sanitary seat vender and a penny in
dividual towel vender. They have a
package vender which dispenses a
package of ten seat covers for 10
cents. This package is also for distri
bution and sale through retail depart
ment and drug stores. A national ad
vertising plan is involved, under the
direction of Herbert O. Simmons, ad
vertising counsel.
