Tentative officers were elected to
hold office until the assembly of prac
tically every manufacturer in the coun
try during the Big Show at the Sher
man Hotel, February 22-25.
Gone were past grievances, and per
sonal rivalries tlmt have heretofore
marked efforts to establish the strong
association the industry has needed
for m any years. A spirit o f co-opera
tion and friendliness towards all fac
tions prevailed.

As
of good
faith and right spirit the following
telegram was sent to David S. Bond,
president of the Automatic Merchan
disers Association, then in convention
at the Palmer House in Chicago:
Executive Committee, Coin Ma
chine Manufacturers Association

Blvd., Chicago, 111.;
Surprised at contents of your
telegram. Astonished at expres
sions o f friendship, since past ac
tions do not indicate sincerity.
The hand of fellowship and co
operation is best displayed by
actions rather than words. If you
have any definite plans for co
operation, kindly advise and iden
tify executive committee.
