Watling’s responsibility as a leader in the coin-operated
machine and scale industry. With a sales increase last year of over 35 %
in contrast to a decrease for the industry as a whole, it is only natural
that scale and machine operators, and the public, wonder what Watling
will do in 1932.
To widen its margin of leadership, Watling continues the same poli
cies that have been responsible for its growth, year by year, since 1889.
There is only way for Watling to meet its responsibility, and that is
to give the buyer A bigger value for his money, in a better product than
he can get anywhere else.
T o the thousands of Watling customers throughout the world, whose
enthusiastic co-op&ration has been a source of constant inspiration for
43 years, Watling takes this occasion to renew its pledge of faith. In
the future, as in the past, Watling will guard the high principles that
have caused their every accomplishment to earn increasing good will,
and their name becoming a synonym for dependability and integrity
everywhere.
You are invited to read Watling’s announcements on the succeeding
pages, and also to visit us at Booths 13 and 14 at the Big Show, Febru
ary 22 nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th, at the Sherman Hotel, Chicago, Illinois.
