COIN OPERA TED COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION
Fill 'Er Up!
by Paul Hindin
English coin-op
version . Made in
t he I 930's. It is a
very hard to find
version. Not
much is known as
to manufacture,
but stands
approx. 12" tall.
One of the most desirable lighter
fluid dispensers. Everytime you use
it, the clock moves one notch.
Looks like a very early gas pump
but this I¢ light er fluid dispenser
sat in tobacco stores, general
country stores and gas station
counters. Made in early I 930's.
The Fi l-A-Lighter was a
very popu lar machine. The
design is similar to its big
brother gas pump. Back in
the 30's, I¢ a squirt was a
big profit for the operator.
The Oronite Lighter Flui d Dispenser was
made in the early I 930's. Made by the
Lark Distributing Co. t his machine actual-
ly used a flu id can ister to supply the
lighter fluid.W hen can was empty, it was
replaced with a new can.
Push the Shell globe
and it fills your lighter.
Non coin-op. Made of
bronze and brass.

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
