The cigarette shortage has
hit the White House along with
the rest of the country. Presi­
dent Roosevelt recently told
reporters that he is burning up

Downstairs at a vending ma­
chine where W hite House em­
ployees have purchased cigar­
ettes, there wasn’t a pack in
sight.
