BOB CHESTER SELECTS
HIS NEWEST HIT
Bob Chester’s newest Victor
recording of the hit, “No Good”
is fast gaining recognition and
destined to be one of the big
numbers of 1942.
“No Good” as recorded by
Bob Chester is so good that
many predict it will hit the “big
time” quickly and stay put. Vic-
tor-Bluebird Record No. 11428,
it’s well worthy of any Music
Merchants’ attention, for “No
Good” looks to be a sure-fire
money maker.
HAPPEL, MILWAUKEE
DISTR., OPENS L. A.
BRANCH
Mr. and Mrs. William Happel,
Jr., of the Badger Novelty Com
pany, Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
recently passed through Chicago
on their way to Los Angeles,
California, where Mr. Happel
will open a jobbing business on
Pico Boulevard. Happel will
have his branch offices located
quite a distance apart, but with
the fine service given by the air
lines today, it is only an over
night trip.
Business in the Milwaukee
office has been exceptionally
good, considering the time of
the season . . . January and Feb
ruary usually being very quiet.

“This year it was exception
al,” said Bill Happel, “in that
we were able to sell many
phonographs and a great deal
of remote equipment. The Tone-
O-Lier Speaker made by Rock-
Ola this year is a sensation.”
Happel will not represent the
Rock-Ola Manufacturing Cor
poration in the Los Angeles
territory, as Jean Minthorne is
the established distributor there.
