All roads in the vicinity of
Philadelphia led to Penn Coin-
O-Matic showrooms on National
Wurlitzer Days as all records
for attendance were smashed
for an event of its kind.
Invited to view the new Wur
litzer Victory Model 950, Wur-
litzer’s tw o new S elective
Speakers, new Organ Speaker
and Selective Bar Box, the
throng proved highly enthusias
tic. A large number of orders
were placed.
Center of attention was, of
course, the new Wurlitzer Vic
tory Model 950 with the most
brilliant illumination ever incor
porated.
The “Ohs” and “Ahs” that
greeted this beauty were re
doubled when music merchants
learned that despite the bril
liance of Fluorescent Illumina
tion, current consumption was
lower than ever before.
Much admiration was ex
pressed for the entire phono
graph with its smartly styled
glass paneling and host of me
chanical features.
