AUTOMATIC
AGE
Automatic Age is all set in new editorial and publishing head
quarters. Greater cooperation to the end that the interests of the entire
industry will be bettered shall occupy my wholehearted attention. This
cooperation will be closer than ever before because all of my time will be
devoted to Automatic Age. There are no other business interests to di
vide this attention.
operators. Its contents reflect the industry, not merely as a group of sellers
and buyers, but as fellow citizens and Americans who are interested in
national progress and improvement for all. The dignity of the industry's
co-workers will be upheld.
CU Upon you manufacturers, distributors, and operators I rely for the ma
terial that makes Automatic Age more interesting and valuable.
I
believe that the men who create the industry know best how to run it.
Your plans for improvement will be put into action. There are many ways
through which the alert trade magazine can constructively stimulate the
industry's progress. It promotes industry teamwork and harmony, and
cheers every good measure. That is the job I shall devote my talents to.
From my twenty years of publishing experience, covering the indus
trial, restaurant, hotel, club, resort, school, and mail order fields — my
opinion is that the coin machine industry workers have more ingenuity,
more ideas, and a keener sense of humor than have the workers in any
other industry.
