NO PRE-HOLIDAY LULL
AT BALLY FACTORY
The pre-holiday lull in sales
failed to make its usual Decem
ber 1 appearance, according to
Ray Moloney, president of Bally
Mfg. Company. '
“On the contrary,” Moloney
stated, “whereas the sales curve
in former years has always tak
en a nose-dive at this time of the
year, this year it is bending
sharply upward. Our big prob
lem for the balance of the year
is, not sales, but production.”

Dallas operators are extra
tourist-conscious these days.
The Texas State Fair October 4
to 19 will bring an estimated
1,250,000 visitors to the city,
and operators expect the vis
itors to drop many coins into
coin chutes.
Two-thirds of Louisiana was
filled with Blues and Reds for
army maneuvers in mid-August,
much to the delight of operators
who found their machines popu
lar. A half million soldiers
played war in Mississippi.
