„. face of the usual “summer
slump”, the coin machine industry
is seen as being definitely on the in
crease, according to the observations
of A. B. Chereton, president of Elec
trical Products Company, De'roit.
The well known manufacturer of
coin machine accessories is a keen
analyst of business conditions, and
bases his encouraging report on facts
drawn from recent experience in his
own field.
According to Chereton, Epco Bell
Locks are now being sold in ever in
creasing numbers, a marked upturn
having begun some six weeks ago
after a long period of only moderate
advances in Epco Bell Locks ship
ments. Such firms as Rock-Ola, Bally,
Genco, Chicago Coin, Watling and
several other of the more prominent
manufacturers are reported to be now
using the Epco Locks as standard
equipment, and the increasing re
quirements of these manufacturers
has been referred to as a certain indi
cation of increased demand for coin
operated equipment of all types.
Mr. Chereton, in a recent com
munication, said: “Evidently opera
tors all over the country are begin
ning to rehabilitate their games for
a big spring and summer season, for
we are selling them more Electropaks-
than ever before, and replacement
parts such as rectifiers, transformers
and fuse eliminators are rapidly in
creasing in demand.”
