Douglis on Four
Week Trip
As we go to press A. S. Douglis
of Daval Manufacturing Company
has not yet returned from his four-
week pleasure trip, but is expected
most any minute. I f Mr. Douglis calls
this a pleasure trip we wonder what
would happen if he set out in earnest
to rustle up a few orders for ma­
chines. But there’s no denying that
it would be a real pleasure to learn
first hand what a reception Daval’s
new “Reel 21” is getting from the
trade and to wire in those big orders.
So it seems that in this case the
boss isn’t taking any chances that
the factory will run out of something
to do while he is away. We found
Mr. Helfenbein, who is also boss,
being Mr. Douglis’ partner, dashing
madly from production rooms to
desks piled high with orders, despair­
ing of ever catching up on deliveries
on their new counter game sensation.
