^ E W S to the effect that Gaylord
Coin Machine Corporation have
become exclusive distributors for Pa­
cific Amusement Mfg. Co., handling
the sale of “PAMCO” products to
operators and jobbers in the State
of Illinois, mai’ks another step for­
ward by this progressive concern.
The firm will contniue to act as ex­
clusive distributors for Bally Mfg.
Company, of course.
The first of Pacific’s “Quintuplets”
called “Hit or Miss”, and “Chain-A-
Lite” are the two games that bound
the deal with Pacific. It is under­
stood that E. S. Gaylord, Vice-Presi­
dent of the firm, has envisioned far-
reaching operating opportunities for
both these items. The “Quintuplets”
number five machines in all, to be
brought out consecutively as the de­
mand for each new game is created.
Embodying new and unique princi­
ples, and being adaptable to either
counter or floor operation, Gaylord

these devices, having laid down heavy
orders to meet the on-coming demand.
A familiar name to coin machine
operators and jobbers throughout the
country, Gaylord has held some im­
portant posts, calling for ability
coupled with a keen insight into those
elements necessary to products allied
with the amusement market.
His
name has been identified with such
others as National Automatic Ma­
chines Co., of Saint Paul, and more
recently with Rock-Ola. Gaylord is
now identified with one of the larg­
est distributing organizations ever
created, holding a record for good
business dealings and efficient service.
1 he Gaylord Coin Machine Corpo­
ration occupies attractive and spa­
cious quarters at 1227 Washington
Blvd., in Chicago’s near-loop area,
where 4000 square feet is available
for display rooms, storage, and repair
shops.
Associated with Mr. Gaylord is Col.
John C. Bohan, president of the firm,
and a Chicago business man of wide
and good repute. His accomplish­
ments in the development )f some of
the greatest projects ever launched in
the construction field, including the
erection of the Stevens Hotel, and
other note-worthy achievements.
