John J. Greenberg of Portland
Oregon, named in two warrants
charging operating and selling an
amusement device w it' out a licen-e,
was fined $100 on each of the two
charges when he appeared before
Police Judge Long Tuesday.
G. A. Cusick of the city license bu
reau, complainant, contended that
Greenberg avoided paying the $100
license fee.
Cusick said the pur
chaser could operate under a $5
license fee.

Marble games and vending ma
chines aren’t the only ones that bene
fit from Oklahoma City’s indoor sport
fans. The city has collected $1,248
in licenses for penny and nickel vend
ing machines of all sorts since Ja n u
ary 18, city clerk’s office announced
in March. These include permits for
salted peanut machines, marble games
and all sorts of coin-operated ma
chines. Six months licenses for the
penny gadgets costs $3 and for the
nickel machines costs $6.
