I decided it could be done and accordingly
laid my plans which have finally material­
ized into concrete form.
“ My faith in the business that had given
such a ride had been shaken. To start
with, I was at fault, not the business. It
is simply a question of investment and in­
terest. Overhead must be kept down, and
the lower the investment the greater the
interest. This is just good horse sense but
I didn’t use it originally.

Auburn, Ind.— Robert McCune of Fort
Wayne, coin machine hi-jacker, was fined
$25 and costs and sentenced to the state
farm for 60 days by Judge William P.
Endicott in the DeKalb circuit court upon
bis plea of guilty to a charge of operating
a motor vehicle without a license.
McCune and George Johnson of Fort
Wayne, were arrested in Garrett while try-
