Visits Chicago
Clyde E . M ayer, veteran operator of
Sioux City, Iowa, with Mrs. M ayer and
their daughter M ary Louis, visited Chicago
and the W o r ld ’s Fair fo r a few days the
first part o f August. Mr. M ayer combined
business with pleasure and made the rounds
to see the various manufacturers. H e also
attended the C .M .M .A . meeting on August
4th and heard manufacturers discuss the
new N .R .A . proposition.
M ayer is recognized as one of the largest
operators in the middle west. His territory
includes Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and
W yom in g. H e is also one o f the real pio­
neer operators in the business. He stated
that he had the first copy o f A u t o m a t i c
A g e ever printed and all o f them since,
and that makes quite a stack o f them.

Dresses Up Counter
W ith the use of easels and display racks
merchants can greatly dress up the appear­
ance of their counters says Chas. A . Brewer
& Sons, prominent punch board m anufac­
turers.
They have realized this for some
time and as a result have invented a collap­
sible easel fo r their boards.
These easels
when unfolded make the board stand up­
right on the counter— taking about one-
third the space occupied by the board when
left flat. W hen the easel is used the board
attracts more attention and creates bigger
sales.
These easels can be folded up
apainst the board when it is not on display.
