Mr. L. H. Stark, founder o f the
Ideal W eighing Machine Company o f
Los Angeles, after many years spent
in operating many types o f penny
weighing scales, and being confronted
with the difficulty o f finding loca
tions in the congested districts,
where room is a large factor, set
about to find a scale that was small
enough, yet attractive and accurate.
He purchased several, but could npt
get the right one.
About 14 years ago he started to
experiment and after spending much
time and money, offers to the public
what he considers the best small
scale on the market and equal to any
large scale as to accuracy and de
