How the Profit Sharing For­
tune Telling Mirror Scale
Operates
You deposit your coin in the
slot, which releases the indicator
hand, which registers your weight
on the dial. Then you step off the
platform, which releases the com,
allowing it to drop on the arrow,
spinning it around. Wherever the
arrow stops it indicates your for­
tune, then the coin percolates down
the pin board, and, if it drops into
the cup, you have received your
weight and fortune free. If it goes
into the cash box, you have paid
for your weight and fortune. It is
not necessary to get weighed to
get your fortune, as the fortune
mechanism works independent of
the scale, making two machines
