Chicago Has Live Association of Operators
The Vending Machine Operators’
Association o f Chicago is a live or­
ganization, which holds monthly
meetings o f great interest to the
members. The majority o f operators
in Chicago belong to this organiza­
tion. Every operator would find it to
his advantage to get in with the
others and work together fo r the
benefit o f the entire industry.
Some do not realize that the or­
ganization kept them from being put
out o f business. F or instance, during
the recent session o f the Illinois
Legislature a law was about to be
passed imposing a tax o f $7.50 on
each individual vending and weighing
machine. I f it had not been fo r the
association the local operators would
be practically put out o f business.
This is only one o f numerous things
which the association does fo r the
operators in Chicago.
