"SCRAM!" is a game with a background and a history. The
game was created and patented by an eminent engineer,
General Thomas S. Hutchison, whose engineering genius has
been recognized by the United States and many foreign
governments. Into the field of games, General Hutchison
brought both an engineer's analysis and an inherent love of
games. During his commendable service as soldier and engin.
eer during the Spanish-American, Balkan and World Wars,
General Hutchison has had an excellent opportunity to study
and compare the appealing elements of the interesting and
widely different games of many countries.
The principles that appealed to him in the many games he
has studied, were weighed, compared, and accepted or re-
jected, until finally "SCRAM!" took finished form in his
laboratories.

The A. B. T. Manufacturing Company, well-known to all for
the famous triple tumbler coin devices and other game suc··
cesses it produces, was quick to see that "SCRAM!" deserved
nation-wide distribution. Accordingly, to meet the ever-
increasing demand, the A. B. T. Manufacturing Company
took over the production of "SCRAM!" -a positive assurance
of mechanical perfection, and quality in every detail.
3.
The J. P. SEEBURG CORPORATION, makers of coin-oper-
ated musical instruments, pianos, organs, amusement games,
and other quality products, brings SEEBURG master-crafts-
manship into the building of "SCRAM!" Known the world
over for their distinctive cabinet work and design, they have
added special SEE BURG featu res to make it sturdy and fine
in appearance. With such a background, "SCRAM!" is bound
to talk your language ... the language of profit-convincingly
plain.
