At a special meeting of the Ex-
ecutive Board of the Philadelphia
Coin Machine Operators Association
held on July 19, 1932, it was de-
cided to inaugurate an intensive
drive to increase the membership of
the local operators' association. For
a limite d t ime only the initiation or
entrance fee has been reduced from
$50. 00 to $12 .50. All operators of
coin-controlled machines in this ter-
r itory are urged to join now and '
participate with us in our business
building activities.
We have a
strong and active organization with
a very healthy treasury and it is not
for lack of funds that we are initiat-
ing t his drive. On the contrary, we
are expending a considerable amount
of money in the very n ear future on
a grand picnic to be held at Atlantic
City, on or about August 11. All
new applicants for membership are
invited to come a long with us and
spe nd a gloriou s day at the seashore.
Come on, you operators doing
business in Philadelphia, you know
what this live-wire organization has
done for the betterment of the oper-
ating business in this city. We have
only just begun, join u s. The special
initiation f.ee of $12.50 is only tem-
porary and subject to recall at the
discretion of the Executive Board.
Applicants for membership will p leaSe
write to Jack Brandt, our secretary,
1810 North Seventh Street, Phila-
delphia.
