Incorrect, or no change or Escrow
Return.
The dispensers are enabled dur-
ing three operations:
1. Escrow Return Request
2. Change Making
3. Manual Dispense Request
ESCROW RETURN REQUEST
The changer's microprocessor
periodically enables the HF2 os-
cillator to detect an Escrow Re-
turn Request. If, during this time
frame the HF2 oscillator output
frequency should decrease, the
microprocessor will enable the
appropriate dispensers to pay-
back all credit accumulated dur-
ing the current transaction.
Be aware that the option Switches
of the TRC- 6800 or the exter-
nal vending machine controller
of the TRC-6000 or TRC-6010
may disable the Escrow Return
function, entirely.
n most cases, when a vend is
complete, the vending machine
controller will enable the dis-
pensers to payback accumulated
credit above the vend price in the
fewest coins available. In certain
modes, the dispensers may be
enabled even though no change
is available.

MANUAL DISPENSE REQUEST
A dispenser will be enabled
when a Manual Dispense Switch
is closed on the changer, vend-
ing machine controller or vendor.
Proper operation in this mode
will verify proper Dispenser cir-
cuit operation.
The status of the Coin Tube Sen-
sors and the High 25c / Low 25c
Option Switch determine coin
routing. A coin will be routed to
the cash box when the Upper
Coin Tube Sensor for that par-
ticular coin, or in the case of the
Quarter, the Lower Coin Tube
Sensor if the Low 25c Option is
selected, is covered. In this sce-
nario the Second Gate solenoid
is not enabled, the gate remains
open and the coin goes to the
cash box.
If the conditions noted above do
not exist, the Second Gate sole-
noid will be enabled, blocking
the path to the cash box and rout-
ing the coin to the appropriate
Coin Tube. US and Canadian
Dollar coins will always go to the
cash box.

Coins that have gone to the cash box
instead of a Coin Tube or coins that
go to Coin Tube instead of cash box.
Once a coin is through the First
Gate it will encounter the Strobe
coil. A change in the frequency
of the Strobe oscillator output will
trigger the microprocessor into
applying appropriate credit to the
accumulator, based on the coin's
validated identity.
