DYNAMO AIR HOCKEY COIN SETUP PROCEDURE
Customer Service
Dynamo
Richland Hills, Texas
The following procedure is for use
with the new 6.02 EURO A.H.
BOARD. This board is used with
both Export and Domestic games,
and can be programmed to work
with both an electronic and me-
chanical coin mechanisms.
This board uses a 3 position mo-
mentary switch instead of dip
switches for the setup programming.
When the switch is moved down it
is in the Cal 1 position, when it is
moved up, it is in the Cal 2 posi-
tion, the center position is normally
open. The programmable operator
adjustables are stored in memory.
Should, for any reason, this infor-
mation becomes invalid, the game
will automatically revert back to it's
default settings.
There are two setup menus for this
board; a 5 second menu and a 10
second menu. Both menus change
depending on wether the board is
setup to be a Domestic (push chute)
or Export (electronic coin mech)
table. The default settings for the
two different styles are listed below.
To change any of these default num-
bers or to make any changes to the
operator adjustables hold the 3 po-
sition switch in the Cal 1 position
for 5 or 10 seconds depending on
which menu you want to access, the
display will count the seconds. Once
you have reached the 5 or 10 sec-
ond mark, release the Cal 1 switch
and the first step of the menu se-
lected will be displayed.

The programming switch allows
you to both step through the vari-
ous programming positions as well
as change a particular programming
positions value. After holding the
programming switch in the Cal 1
position for either 5 or 10 seconds
(depending on which menu you
want to select) you will be in the pro-
gramming mode. The first pair of
numbers in that menu will be dis-
played for two seconds and then the
current value for that position will
be displayed. If no change is re-
quired for this position, click the
switch in the Cal 1 position to step
to the desired programming posi-
tion. To make a change, click the
programming switch in the Cal 2
position to increment the value
through it's adjustment range until
the desired value is found and then
click the switch in the Cal 1 posi-
tion to set the new value. This will
enter the new value and then auto-
matically advance you to the next
programming level or to the game
mode you were in at the last pro-
gramming level.

* This position programs the coin
counter. It can either be set to count
games or coins. For example: if this
position is set to '1' it is counting
games. If the game uses a $.50 slide
chute and this position is set to '2',
then it is counting coins.
Because games can be priced differ-
ently, the default setting for this
position is '1'; counting games.
