The segments of each display digit correspond electrically to CATHODES; that is, they require a NEGATIVE drive voltage for
operation, and each display digit connection (which are CLEAR conductors deposited on the TOP glass of the display sandwich) can
be thought of as the ANODE, driven by a POSITIVE drive signal. These drive voltages are typically on the order of +90v DC for the
digits (Anodes) and -700v DC for segments (Cathodes).

ROWE
INFRA-RED REMOTE
INTERFACE MODIFICATION
Rowe Service
Rowe International
Whippany, New Jersey
PRODUCTS AFFECTED
SOLUTION
IR remote interfaces in Rowe
jukeboxes.
PROBLEM
Add a .1 uf capacitor (p/n
70028511) from pin 1 (reset) of
US to ground on the IR remote
interface (see drawing)
The addition of the .01 uf cap
across R-91 on the CCC has
caused a reset problem with the
IR remote interface.
Use caution when changing the
CCC in a jukebox that has an IR
remote. If the new CCC has the
cap on R-91, the cap should be
added to the IR interface.
Failure to do so could cause a
problem to develop where there
was not one in the past.
