STICKY FLIPPER UPGRADES
PROBLEM
#1) Part =II= A-21042
Flipper Update Kit (white inter-
rupter, spring, instructions)
Skipping CD's on regular basis.
SYMPI'OM
#2) Part =II= A-21201
Check to see if the the juke skips
on the first or second song.
Flipper Update Kit as above with
a new Opto board.
CAUSE
NOTE 1
Games made after May 1995
have Schmidt trigger opto boards
and need the kit with the new
opto board. Schmidt trigger
boards have five lead optos, older
boards (which don't need replac-
ing) have four leads.
NOTE2
• Board =II= for the Schmidt opto
board is 5768-14577-00
• Board =II= for the old board is
5768-13469-00
NOTE3
Each kit does two flipper opto
setups (ie: one complete game).
If it does, check to see if the CD
was made by Time-Warner. I've
had a lot of problems with Time-
Warner CDs in Rowe and
Wurlitzer jukes, it seems their
encoding process is a little differ-
ent and has been causing a lot of
problems with Phillips laser play-
ers. (I also have a problem with
them in a Sony CD-player in my
car.)
