"This guy, frankly, is an idiot when he says that games
increase when the same version hits the home market. I
am sick and tired of people trying to lie to me. I have
seen nothing except the contrary. Every single time
something hits, the bottom just drops out and, yes, I do
watch my game times and keep my games adjusted cor-
rectly. It just makes me sick to my stomach that some-
body would have the gall and unproffessionalism to say
something so clearly untrue." Bob Taggart, B&B Video
Vending, Bakersfield, California.
RESPONSE:
"Although most of the responses I received from this
article have been favorable, some have been on the
negative side. Which is one of the objectives in writing
such a piece. Another objective is to get you to think
and possibly invoke other ideas because of that which
you have read. This has, evidently, worked quite well
judging by the number of responses I received ( on both
sides of the fence).
The article last month on the future of videogames is
simply my observation and my experience of what
works in our location and is not intended to be the "Law
of the Land." Just take the information from the article
that you can use in your particular situation and dis-
card the rest. Not everything that works for one will
work for all. If that was the case, everyone would be in
this business. In the end, I hope that my future articles
will stir up as much response and thinking that this one
has. After you have read one I want to make you say,
"Hummm ... ". And if you do and you have comments,
send them in -then I will know that I have done my
job." Larry Munday, Pojo's of Idaho, Boise, Idaho.
