PROBLEM
SUBJECT
Although Aero Fighters has
been a good earning piece, I
have had several intermittent
complaints about the graphics
breaking up in different spots.
To those of you that can sup-
port the higher throughput,
the BBS now has a brand
spankin' new "Hayes Optima
144/144FAX" modem thanks
to the BBS support coordina-
tor at Hayes and a little
scratch from STAR"'kTECH
Journal and your (humble?)
sysop.
SYMPTOM
This always seemed to be
cured with a good right cross to
the cabinet. After
nearly a year, the game finally
came into the shop for about a
week and a much needed exor-
cisms.

REcoNFm
That means if you have the
hardware, we can just about
sync up with anything now. So
reconfigure your communica-
tion software for the highest
rate you can handle and let it
fly!
SOLUTION
The intermittent problem
turned out to be lousy solder-
ing on the flat pack IC chips.
This chip had 5 pins that were
loose and making intermittent
contact.
