Ticket jams on Bromley Wheel

Burnt and intermittent fuse
holders causing random game
failures.
Here's a low-tech method for
testing microswitches. Sur-
prisingly it's quite accurate.
Service Department
Westmoreland Amusements
Latrobe, Pennsylvania
PROBLEM
1 Place your ear next to the
questionable microswitch.
2. Activate the microswitch
and listen to the sound it
makes.
3. If the sound is a firm click,
then the switch is OK.
This test will pick up the usual
failures associated with these
type switches.
Small coins, (i.e. pennies, nick-
els), can fall through the coin
mech and land on the ticket
dispenser directly below -
causing a jamb.
SOLUTION
Cover ticket dispenser. Simple
and effective.
SOLUTION
Replace the bad holder with ~ -
heavy-duty in-line auto fuse
holders, available at automo-
tive supply stores.
Solder directly to the bridge
lugs instead of using push-on
connectors.
