The E-clips have been a problem
on these vehicle lift platforms.
So much so that I recommend
stocking a couple of these Eagle
Lift clips to reduce down time.

Horizontal lines at bottom or

We have had many pingame coin
jams due to the design of the

Every three months check to
make sure that the wheels that
the cable runs over are turning.
Very important. This inspection
can save you a cable from being
damaged. This item also applies
to Tommy Gate lift platforms.
CAUSE
This condition is caused by a
non-linear vertical waveform. -
as viewed with the oscilloscope
at TP3.
SownoN
Change capacitor C9 (100uf,
35V) in the vertical amplifier
circuit.

Due to the forward pitch of th~.
cabinet, the coins tend to pile up
towards the front of the box,
causing the coins to back up into
the coin mechs.
SownoN
A redesign with a backwards
pitch of the cashbox would
eliminate this annoying problem.

Smart has released a kit to
move the pendulum tilt to the
top platform. This will enable it
to be more sensitive to shock
and more obvious to the opera-
,,..-..,,, tor.
Due to the low current flow
through the goldflashed elec-
tronic flipper cabinet switches,
we have had complaints of in-
termittent operation.

Hot item for a hand load for the
winter season. Try handcuffs.
They're great for both the guys
and girls locations.
The players will insist that a
flipper won't fire on occassion,
but in test, it wi!I refuse to fail.
SownoN
We have had success replacing
the goldflash switches with
Wico crossbar leaf switches
(Part #15-110101). These are
molded switches commonly
used for control panel buttons.
The crossbars act as self
cleaning contacts and will work
every time.
~
Take an old molded switch,
break the blades off and use the
remaining black plastic block as
a mounting spacer for the new
switch. This will give you a per-
fect mounting angle. (Crossbar
blades should not be bent or the
contacts won't make properly) .
