PROBLEM
In reference to your article "Al-
ternate Source for Atari Hard
Drivin' Steering Pot" in the
February 1993 issue of
STAR*TECH Journal.
Small or reduced in size pic-
ture on screen.
B+ voltage checks out O.K.
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Mon~tor Updates
Since your article ran, Hosfelt
Electronics has had a run on
those l0K ohm 10-turn pots
and are now out of stock. That
was apparently a one-time
only deal and they are not get-
ting any more.
Found D14 (MR818 or
ECG506) and C 18 to be bad.
1990. 1991. 1992, 199~
SOLUTION
The good news is that Digi-
Key carries the original re-
placement part (Digi-Key
#73JA103N) for $10.98. This
is a regular part in their cata-
log so it will continue to be
available.
SOURCE
Call Digi-Key toll free at: 800/
344-4539 and don't forget to
ask for a catalog. They carry
lots of components and connec-
tors.
