PROBLEM
PROMOTIONS
Little to no screen control (brightness).
It gives us great pleasure to announce the fol-
lowing promotions.
SYMPTOM
Adjusting the screen control makes only little
change on the screen, yet the black level control
will bring up scan/retrace lines on the screen.
Amie Aarstad has been promoted from Field
Resistor R4 l 9 (330K ohm) is open.
Service Representative to Director of Field Ser-
vice for the Pinball Division. Amie brings 16
years of experience. the majority spent as service
manager for Bally Pinball. Midway Manufac-
turing and Bally /Sente.
REASON
Jim Gon11an has been promoted from Design
With R419 open, the screen control circuit feeds
off the black level line making the black level
control act like the screen control to some de-
gree. Replacing R4 l 9 will give you the screen
control back again.
Engineer to Field Service Representative. Jim
has many years of experience in the operating
end of the business that gives him a unique
understanding of what problems operators have
to face day to day.
