SYMPTOMS
SUBJECT
No video, purple screen, test switch won't bring
out the diagnostics. +5 volt supply is ok.
Rollergames pinball displays.
SYMPTOM
SOLUTION
Displays are dim and starting to disappear.
With the game turned off, apply a momentary
short to ground across the battery at Al 2 or IC54
pin 8 to R24.
TEST
In fact, what you are doing is clearing the Rams
at locations IC55 and IC60. This procedure will
restore the game to normal operation.

Check both + 1 OOv and -1 OOv on the power
supply. One or both of them will be very low.
SOLUTION
You'll find a bad zener diode (1N4764). Replace
the failed device ZR2 or ZR4 on the power supply.

4. Depress TR button on right of display unit
until there is no more movement of the gears.
5. Install title strip 01/02 on left hand side in
gear position closest to you.

PROCEDURE
6. Install title strip 03/04 on right hand side in
gear position closest to you.
To realign strips in display the following proce-
dure must be followed:
7. Pull out service switch and enter program 22.

8. Enter 0024 and push hit button. Push in serve
button.
2. Pull out service switch and enter program 22.
9. Push TL button on side of display twice.
3. Enter 0424 and push hit button. Push in
service button.
10. You will now have an empty title strip
position in front of 02/04 on left hand side.
