SUBJECT
Buffalo Bill reports that a fellow operator just
north of the border has modified his coin doors
to allow unmetered test plays while servicing the
game with the coin door open.
Troy Van Grunsven of A NEW DIRECTION
suggests wiring a kick-out switch in series with
the coin meter. "With this wired as standard in
each of our game cabinets. the need for re-
cording metered test plays has been eliminated.
and the cash should always tally against the
meter," says Troy.
J11.is technique of installing a kick-out switch,
which opens the coin meter circuit whenever the
coin door is opened, will reduce the extra
bookkeeping of test plays in those fussy corpo-
rate accounts.
UNIQUE CASE DESIGN
The front panel of the Fluke 37 slopes 15 degrees.permitting easy
viewing. A storage compartment for test leads and small acces-
sories is built into the case. A carrying handle is molded into the
case.
POWER
The Fluke 37is battery powered. Typical battery life is 1000 hours.
Also, works with the optional Fluke A81 battery eliminator.
MIN-MAX & RELATIVE MODES
Min-Max stores the highest and lowest digital readings, allowing
you to monitor a signal for seconds, or days. The relative mode
remembers a reading and shows the change (difference) between
it and any following readings.
3200-CouNT DIGITAL DISPLAY, 31-SEGMENT ANALOG BAR GRAPH
Better accuracy and resoltution than a conventional 3-1 /2 digit
(1999 count) DMM, updated two times per second. Bar graph
makes dynamic measurements such as peaking, nulling, zero
adjustments and capacitor checking. Updates ten times faster than
digital readout.
TOUCH HOLD
Phone & Fax
See page 21 for updated manufacturer
customer service phone & fax numbers.
The meter captures the measurement, beeps, and locks it on the
digital display until you're ready to view it. Automatically updates
with each new measurement.
AUDIBLE CoNTINUrrY/D10DE TEST
Wiring, diode and transistor checks can be done quickly without
looking at the display.
WARRANTY: 2 years. SIZE: 3.8" H x 8.5" W x g• L.
