SUBJECT
We have six of the Funhousepinballs and as with
all new machines some minor problems appear.
This has to do with the "Eye Lids" open plunger.
PROBLEM
If you have lifted the playfield up and noticed a
small brass pin (approximately 3/16" x 1-1/4")
rolling around in the bottom, it has fallen out of
this plunger. Itisaguidepinforthis plunger that
is press fit with a small amount of sleeve re-
taining adhesive. With the combination of heat,
and the vibration of the plunger slamming up
and down, the pin falls out.

To You!
SOLUTION
Best thing to do is pull the head assembly out of
the playfield and remove the plunger. Take the
brass pin and slightly mar or crimp 1/2" of the
end with a pair of vise-grips and gently tap it
back into the plunger. File off any mushrooming
of the pin and reinstall to get a smooth operation
through the centering flange.
Nore
I thought this was an isolated problem, but as
the machines are cycled through the shop, so far
everyone has had to be repaired. Check yours!
• We believe that calling on a customer
doesn't mean dialing a phone or zapping
a fax. It means good old fashioned
face-to-face contact.
• That's why our Wico sales representative
will personally visit you. Ready to serve
your needs. Solve your problems.
And demonstrate new items.
• Our competition may try to accomplish
these tasks over the phone lines. Which
may be the reason they trail Wico by
a long distance.

SYMPTOM
SUBJECT
Trouble with the displays. The De high voltage is
non-existent.
A new chip set is now available to convert your
Perfect Billiards to a Z-80 microprocessor. Per-
fect Billiards is manufactured by Ninon Systems
of Japan and is distributed in the USA by United
Artist.
PROBLEM
Cross referencing the part numbers to suitable
replacements.
REASON
SOLUTION
Here are some substitutes for your Williams high
voltage power supply. Always check all semi-
conductors in both the +100 and -100 supply
before powering up. Also check for burnt display
tubes or ones that come up blank so as not to re-
damage your repair.
And use new heat sink compound on the power
tabs -it gets real hot in those headers!

The Perfect Billiards used a custom micropro-
cessor that would "die" with no hope of ever
finding a replacement, so this 4 chip set converts
the board to the standard Z-80. The Z-80 re-
places the custom chip at position BM and three
other chips are added at positions NP8, NPlO
and R8 on the game board.
