It's a waste to dump old favorites like Black
Tiger or Rush N' Attack to make room for
newer titles. With the 4-PLAY system kit, you
can condense 4 mediocre game boards into
one cabinet and assemble a solid performer.
In addition, you wind up with 3 spare cabi-
nets for future conversions!
PLAYER OPERATION
When a player walks up to a 4-PLAY cabinet,
he presses a "Select" button until his chosen
game appears. Then he inserts a coin and
presses start. It's much easier to understand
than the Nintendo Play-Choice system and
the games can be much better.
COLLECTIONS
I have 2 prototype systems (A & B) on test
and the collections have exceeded my expec-
tations. They have earned about twice as
much as any of the individual games on their
own. These are the game boards I've used:
INSTALLATION
1) Mount multiplexor board and harness.
2) The boards must be powered up at all
times for instant switching so mount up to 4
power supplies.
3) Mount up to 4 PC boards. They must be
compatible. (i.e. All vertical with 2 joysticks
& 2 buttons, horizontal with 1 stick and 1
button etc.). If 1 board needs 3 buttons but
the others just need to use 2, then put the
3rd button in and the other boards will
ignore it.

4) Harness will plug directly into Jamma
standard boards; others require you to wire
adaptor board (4 supplied with system).
5) Connect remaining harness to control
panel, monitor and coin door, just like a
conventional kit. The harness has connec-
tors and individual wire tags for easy
hookup. "Select Game" button must be
added to panel.
6) Add required 2nd speaker and connect
audio. Volume will be reduced in half so you
may use 4 speakers for maximum volume.
This may be required for arcades.
8) Finish with universal graphics provided.
Toe system consists of a multiplexor board
and custom Jamma-based harness. The
coin inputs and video outputs are switched
by the player select button and other con-
nections are commoned together.

With the optional expander board, you may ~
connect 4 coin counters and even reverse the
yoke to selectively flip the picture upside
down. The latter is accomplished with a
