New Duralink Replaces Alumilink
David E. Smith
Duralink Distributing Company
Garland, Texas
Thank you for switching to Alumilink flip-
per-links. In the past year we have been able
to distribute several thousand high strength
aircraft quality Alumilinks across the US
and abroad, in an attempt to eliminate the
burdensome problem of replacement of
other style links.
Also, it has come to our attention that a few
of our original proto-type Alumilinks (com-
posed with a lesser percentage of chromium
content, thus susceptible to elongation),
were accidentally distributed in 1988. These
protos were intended for in-house testing
purposes only.
Beginningin 1989, we'veintroducedaneven
stronger product, composed of heat-hard-
ened chrome-molly steel. We've renamed
this Duralink, to represent the added dura-
bility. This product can withstand unlimited
use.
Any vendor in possession of these parts may
return same through July 31, 1989. Upon
receipt we will redistribute to you the Dural-
ink, on a 1 to 1 basis, free of charge.

Illustrated below are the most recent updates for
all our new games with coin credit PC board addition.
Some general guidelines to follow when setting up your new games with coin accumulation:
1. After assembly and installation into its
permanent location, toggle all dip switches
3. Check the coin credit board for the revi-
sions shown below. If they haven't all been
back and forth to be sure that they are
making good contact. There are 3 sets of dip
switches on the coin credit board (shown
below) and also one set on the main PC board
on 6000 and 7000 models. If any of these
switches are not making proper contact they
could cause missed coin-ups. It is a good
idea to repeat this exercise any time a game
is relocated.
made, please do them. These revisions
should eliminate coin-in problems, an
minimize any static lock-up problems you·
may be experiencing.
