Care And Feeding of
Leland QUARTERBACK
By
Dennis Sable
The Leland Corporation
El cajon, california
Just as modern trainers take steps to keep
professional athletes at their peak, you,
as owners and techs, must take steps to
keep your Leland Corp. QUARTERBACK earning
at its maximum potential.
At first these steps may seem currbersome
or excessive but when viewed with respect
to the income generated by a clean,
well-maintained oochine, as opposed to the
incorne lost by a dirty, "trashed" game,
the benefit of spending those few extra
minutes will be seen as a wise investrnent.
*
A dirty or improperly adjusted monitor, a
sticky coin mech, or poorly adjusted
player controls are all suspects when a
drop in revenue is noticed.
The following are recommended standard
procedures when serving your machine:
I. EVERY CDI..UD'IOO
a. Make sure the cabinet and especially
the control panel are clean and free of
gum, grease and dirt.
b. Play the game. Check the joysticks and
buttons for proper adjustment and
operation. (See the Buttons and C~ntrols
test in your Diagnostics manual)
Be sure to adjust, clean or replace
any marginal switches.
