6. FLIPPER ASSEMBLY MODIFICATIONS
Our engineering department has evaluated
the flipper assembly and has made several
changes to it. A) We turned the flipper coil
around to lessen the occurence of diode lead
breakage. For the games that are in the field
now, you can snip off the coil positioning pin
from the coil bobbing and turn the coil
around. B) We shortened the end of stroke
switch actuator screw by 1 / 4". This reduces
the amount of wiping that the end of stroke
switch actuator screw has on the switch and
results in longer switch life. You can get the
same results by adjusting the EOS switch so
it opens when the plunger of the coil has
approximately 1 / 16" of travel left before
bottoming out in the coil. C) We changed the
. EOS switch actuator's cap to a much heavier
- nylon. It can be identified by its red color. For
the field we provided our distributors a
quantity of the EOS switch actuator caps at
no charge so they could service their
customer's needs. D) We redesigned the
flipper link making it much stronger and
longer lasting. It can be identified by its red
color.
7. SPINNER WIRE BREAKAGE
We have changed the spinner wire to a
stronger material. The problem with spinner
wire breakage/bending has been eliminated
with this change.

8. STAND-UP TARGET BRACKET BENDING
We have done three things to our stand-up
switches. A) We are using a harder material
for the mounting bracket and the back up
blade. B) We added a gusset to the back up
blade. C) We added a 3 degree forward pitch
to the mounting bracket so when a ball hits
the target it won't bounce up into the glass.
All of these changes are the direct result of
the excellent feedback we receive from you,

PROBLEM
Drew's Tiger Paw Cranes have been burning
out the flashing lights very rapidly.
SOLUTION
To fix the problem, insert a 30 watt, 15 ohm
resistor into the line (in.series) and cure the
problem. If you cannot find one, Drew's
Distributing offers these at $2.20 complete
with a mounting bracket.

CAPT6
CAPACITANCE AND PARTS TESTER
l
FEATURES
• 24 user ranges for versatile test
selection
• Tests 9 Capacitance Ranges from
200pF through to 20,000u.F
• Tests 6 Resistance Ranges from
200n through 20MO
• Tests Diodes, Transistors (NPN and
PNP) and LED's
• Tests Batteries under actual loaded
condition
• 0.5% accuracy for Capacitor Testing
Versatility/Performance
The CircuitmaterM Model CAPT6 is a versatile test instrument which covers a wide range of component
measuring needs. The user can measure capacitors from the smallest (200pF) to the largest filter caps
(20,000uF) with a basic accuracy of 0.5%.
Six resistance ranges, covering from 2000 to 20MQ, provide the user with the capability of checking
component values as well as continuity.
The transistor test function measures both gain (hFE) and leakage (lceo) on both PNP and NPN type devices.
The Diode and LED scales read the approximate forward voltage of the device under test, providing a highly
reliable indication of the condition of the tested item.
The Battery Test feature allows the user to quickly check the condition of most batteries used in the lab and
shop by placing them under actual loaded conditions.
The CAPT6 comes with an Operators Manual and a pair of alligator clip test leads. Capacitors with pigtail leads
may also be tested by inserting the leads directly into the sockets provided on the face of the CAPT6.

Reliability
The instrument is designed to provide years of reliable service. Inputs for resistance and diode testing are
protected against voltage overloads up to 500 volts de or ac rms. Inputs for capacitance testing are
protected by an easily replaceable 250mA, 250 volt fuse.
