Mr. James calore:
Let me start by saying that I thoroughly
enjoyed reading my first issue of STAR*
TOCH JOURNAL. I fol.ll'ld the articles
interesting and informative. My only
regret is that I discovered your
:publication just recently and in my line
of the amusement business, much of the
information I need is, shall we say,
"dated".

My business (hobby) is the restoration of
Murphy's Law #812
the electronic wall games which were
p:>:pular (mainly in taverns) about 10-15
years ago. 'lbese games as you probably
know, were manufactured by the now deflll'lct
Sunbird Electronics Corp. and
Grernlin/Sega. Although Sega is still
around (under Bally I believe) they have
no manuals or tech info available for
games that old.
Whatever hits the fan will not
be evenly distributed.
This brings me to the main point of my
letter. With all of your contacts in the
coin-op industry, do you know of anyone
who deals with these type of games still?
I've been searching for diagrams/service
manuals and parts for a few different
games for the past few years with little
to no success.
Presently, I am in need of manuals for
Sunbirds' 'IOMBSTCNE and FCJvL PIAY and for
Grernlin/Sega's PIAY BALL. I have options
to buy several other game titles so
actually I will be needing diagrams for
any and all of these type games that were
ever made. Did you ever write any articles
in the JOORNAL about maintenance of these
games? If so, I would like copies of those
issues.
I am enclosing a SASE with required.
p:>stage for your list of articles in the
JOURNAL up to the present issue. I also
have interests in pinball and other games
such as videos as well so I will be

In some locations, players have discovered
that 301 IXX.JBLE IN/IXlJBLE OUT can be
played for 25 cents by pressing game
select buttons one and five and releasing
at the same time (doesn't always work
however). The attached minor wiring change
to the game select pushbuttons will
prevent this from occuring. Thanks goes to
