It aay be to your advantage, if you have a
gaae using optos, to increase the values I

resistors, because the less current the
detector transistor has to pass, the
longer life it will have, and the same

The operator should be able to note an
increase in earnings, a decrease in those
long ball-tiae values, and aore challenge
to the player. Of course, the operator can
vary these settings (as eKplained in the
Instructional Manual) to suit the location
and the skill of the players.
COE RAIi ADDITI~
As part of its continuing effort to
support its pinball game owner/operators,
WilliaMS has designed a bracket (p/n

bracket is to absorb the shock of the ball
striking the exit end of the ramp. COMET

There are tNO variations of the self test
used on Atari's INDIANA JMS AND THE
TEMPLE CF IXDt; the full self test 110de,
and a shorter self test ■ode.
The full self test consists of siKteen
separate screens (see chapter two of
operators ■anuall. To enter the full self
test ■ode, you ■ ust turn on the self test
SNitch before turning game power or,. If
the self test switch is turned on while
gaae pc>Mer is on, the game will enter a
shorter test ■ode.
This test will cycle back to the first
test (SNitch test) after the histogram for
level 6, thus skipping the hardware tests.
