AUGER MOTOR KIT
Williams has made available a kit to
improve the performance of the Ball Lift
Motor Assembly on "Hyperball".
On games with serial numbers prior
to #500168 with weak auger motor
symptoms ( motor will not tum while ball
is in the bottom of the assembly and when
the balls are removed, the motor turns
slowly) the kit (K-509-2) will cure these
related motor problems.
The kit consists of
1. A heavy-duty replacement motor
2. An updated power switching
board with larger heat sinks
3. A revision "A" transformer
These kits are available through
Williams' distributors. Contact them for
availability.
CONTROL PANEL ALIGNMENT
Care and caution must be taken when
replacing the control panel on" Hyperball".
The Ball Shooter Assembly must be free
after replacing the panel and care must be
taken to align the panel before power is
applied.
Failure to align the control panel
properly will result in damaging the coil
when power is applied.
Because of the nature of "Hyper-
ball" the shooter assembly cannot be
covered. (This would generate too much
damaging heat.) As a precaution after
replacing the front molding and before
turning on the power, check to see that the
shooter assembly is free.
