To duplicate ... inexpensively.
The Kurz-Kasch PP-400 simplifies duplication.
Just insert a master ROM, PROM, or EROM, a
blank EPROM, flip the power switch to "on" and
push the Program button. Operation is that
simple.
Very little technical background is needed to use
this unit efficiently and easily. There is no editing,
interfacing, programming or verification neces-
sary. It will duplicate the majority of 24 or 28 pin
ROMS, PROMS, or EPROMs into most 24 or 28
pin EPROMs via personality modules. The dupli-
cation of multi-power devices such as the 2708
and TMS27XX series is no problem with the PP-
400. It is fully self-contained, with all regulated
power supplies.
Because the PP-400 comes from Kurz-Kasch, its
capabilities, performance, and low cost will come
as no surprise.

Problem: Intermittent Reset
Solution: Add pull-up resistor and filter cap.
Parts Needed: One 47 ohm resistor and one .01 uF capacitor.
Procedure: Cut etch coming from IC 16 E
pin 1 (refer to figure 2). Add a 47-ohm
resistor between pin 1 and the feed
through (refer to figure 2). Add the .01 uF
capacitor between the feed through and
ground.
