ATARI STEERING TEST MODULE
Atari, for many years, has been making a steering circuit board that is used
on every steering wheel or trak ball in all games. From time to time like
everything else, they fail. Sometimes it is a royal pain to determine which
is bad-the steering P.C.B. , the main logic or wiring harness. With all the
vibration and dirt this little board goes through, it's amazing the problems
aren't severe!
That's why it is important for every operator to have one of these test
modules. The module plugs onto any Atari steering P.C.B. and by rotating
the steering wheel or trak ball a set of L.E.D.'s will illuminate sequentially
(cascade) in the direction of rotation or reverse by rotating in reverse.
