GENE REDEWILL FORESEES OUTCOME
OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Gene Redewill gives Hugh Stewart, Wurlitzer Vice President and Sales
Manager, an order for a carload of pianos for shipment when Roosevelt
was elected. Mrs. Stewart is the witness and John Buttell, Wurlitzer
Regional Director was the photographer.
STEWART-WARNER'S "PRIZE PACKAGE"
FOR CHRISTMAS. THE AIR PAL.
Another innovation in modern merchandising has been
conceived by the Stewart-Warner Corporation. This time it
is in the form of streamlined radio packaging for the Christ-
mas trade.
The Stewart-Warner Air Pal and Campus sets will be of-
fered in individual metalized Christmas gift cartons. Em-
bossed on heavy silver-foil stock, the Air Pal Christmas car-
ton is smartly designed in blue, white, and silver, with a rich
grained effect predominating. The radio-as-a-Christmas-gift
thought is cleverly brought out in a Santa Claus and musical
note motif embossed on both sides of the gift box.
The supernatural clairvoyants of ancient India and the
famed fortune tellers of the early Gypsy tribes had nothing
in the way of prophetic powers that the inimitable Gene Rede-
will of Phoenix, Arizona, does not possess today. There is
something uncanny about Gene's ability to foresee the political
situation and prophesy its outcome despite all the confusion
which always transpires while political campaigns are in
progress.
In the fall of 1932 Mr. Redewill foresaw the election of
President Roosevelt and he gave Hugh Stewart an order for a
carload of pianos to be shipped when Mr. Roosevelt was
elected. He did the same thing in 1936 and again repeated
his crystal gazing act on October 17th of this year when he
gave Mr. Stewart another carload order of Roosevelt pianos
to be shipped November 6th. Thus for the past three Presi-
dential elections Gene has foreseen the outcome correctly and
has guided his ordering of pianos accordingly.
While Mr. Redewill does not take an active part in politics
he is nevertheless extremely active in the promotion of music
and musical instruments. He is the outstanding piano mer-
chant in the state of Arizona and has resided in Phoenix for
the past thirty-five years.
~f^e In speaking of Gene Redewill, Hugh Stewart, Wurlitzer
Vice President and Sales Manager, who has known him in-
timately for the past twenty years said, "If the name 'Gene'
was in any way taken from the word 'ingenious', Gene Rede-
will certainly was correctly named, for he possesses talent in
many directions. It is rare, indeed, to find in one individual
such an exceptional combination of distinctive musical talent
and conspicuous business ability—but Gene Redewill is that
exceptional combination."
The Redewill Music Company of Phoenix, is looked upon
by the people of Arizona, as one of their most reputable, eth-
ical, and substantial business establishments. The distin-
guished accomplishments it has made since its founding in
1908 has proclaimed it one of the most prominent and most
successful music houses in the United States.
