WURLITZER INTRODUCES
NEW
ACCORDION
Modernly Styled With
Tzvclvc Tone Combinations
W
URLITZER has just recently introduced a new Accordion to be identified as
the Auditorium Model 253. The design of this new instrument is graceful in
every respect and it is smartly finished in black pearl with nine chrome bars
on the grille to give it that added touch of distinctive style.
The Wurlitzer Model 253 has 120 basses and 41 treble keys. There are three sets of
hand-tuned reeds in the treble (including A-220, A-440 and A-880), and five sets in the
bass.
The bass is equipped with the new Wurlitzer bar-type bass shift which can be
easily and quickly manipulated with the finger tips from any position on the bass button
board. This shift provides two different tone combinations in the bass.
Three shifts in the treble permit six combinations of treble reeds, each of which
may be used individually with either of the two bass combinations. This makes a total
of twelve different tone combinations.
The new Wurlitzer Model possesses all the regular exclusive Wurlitzer construc-
tional features such as the Exclusive Master Touch Action, seasoned American woods
throughout, resonoscope tuning, patented treble key construction, Wurlitzer positive
shift mechanism, and resonating reed blocks of American warp^proofed woods.
These accordions are now in production and will be available for immediate ship-
ment by the time this announcement appears.
