The European tour of Mr. Chas. K. Wells, presi-
dent of the Chas. E. Wells Music Co., Denver, Colo.,
and at the present time in the eye and attention of
music merchants and music industries people as presi-
dent of the National Music Merchants Association,
took that eminent gentleman through Italy, Switzer-
land, Germany, Holland, Belgium. France and Great
Britain.
After leaving Nice, France, which was his objec-
tive point for attendance as a delegate at the Inter-
national Convention of Rotarians, he visited Genoa.
Milan and Cortina, in Italy, then Austria, Germany.
Holland, Belgium and France were toured. July 4tli
found him at The Hague. July 9 the airplane trip
from Paris to London is scheduled and a stay in
London until the 13th. when the party proceeds to
Oxford and on northward to the land of Shakespeare,

proceed to the south of England, embarking at
Southampton July 16 on the S. S. Washington, which
is expected to dock at New York Thursday, the 22nd.
ending a grand and glorious time.
The opening clay of the convention is Monday, the
26th, which is given up mainly to getting settled and
for the big get-together luncheon at the Hotel New
Yorker. Mr. Wells will have some moments of
respite but he will have a good "hands full" con-
tinually from the time he reaches his hotel from the
steamer all through the convention and until the event
of '37 is a thing of the past. And, "oh my," how he
will sleep when he gets homeward bound.
Group of Prominent Italian Manufacturers to Visit
the Convention
Here is a group of distinguished gentlemen who
will visit the convention during their stay in America.
These gentlemen, representatives of the musical in
dustries in Italy, are to be in this country from July
15 to Aug. 7, and will study requirements and all
particulars of importers of accordions from Italy.
They are members of the Consorzio Fra I Fabricanti.
which controls the export trade of Italy of more than
80 per cent of all accordions manufactured in Italy.
